According to their homeroom teacher, when the Grade 9s heard it was my birthday they all immediately got up to hurry over to the learning commons.
They then got into chorus formation and began to enthusiastically sing “Happy Birthday” as loudly as they could.
According to yet another teacher, this is the first time she’s ever seen the Grade 9s do something like this.
